ABOUT
Raw emotion is the key - melody is the weapon – the dancefloor is the place. Jordan Clayton is dancing to a new beat in his quest to touch hearts and souls with his evocative new breed of melodic house. From his initial ventures into production whilst saving for a trip to Ibiza, to studying at the Academy Of Contemporary Music, through to a complete rethink in musical direction. Jordan Clayton is determined to make the music he loves and connect with his audience on a deeper level.
He launched himself into production back in 2011, investing his energy and time into learning production before embarking on a season at the White Island. A rapid ascent followed, resulting in him being named Artist of the Week on BBC Introducing, only for him to walk away from production completely. The big room sound he excelled in was not resonating with him and he needed time to find his true calling. After immersing himself in the sounds of Anjunadeep, Yotto and Lane 8 he found his sound and returned making what he truly wanted to create. ‘A Long Road Home’ EP that was never actually released in its original form marked his journey back to music and the Into The Ether project was born.
His new sound envelopes the listener carrying them off to dreams of better times and places. Laced with cascading synth lines, organic field recordings and an adrenaline rush of euphoric wistful melodies - this is electronic music that lights up dancefloors and sparks imaginations. With his sensibility for infectious melodic hooks, it is clear why he already has over three million plays on Spotify, multiple Beatport chartings and tracks like ‘Alone’ with Jakarta have gained huge DJ support. Having just finalised two EPs alongside Koelle (Anjunadeep) and collaborations in the pipe line with renowned vocalists, the year ahead looks set to be a busy one.
With the seeds of his new sound planted and the fruits of his endeavours beginning to bloom, get set for Into The Ethers’ stratospheric rise as he pushes his sound across Europe and beyond.
