Into the Ether is a brand new musical project by English DJ and producer Jordan Clayton. Having enjoyed a successful spell producing under his own name, Clayton decided that 2018 was the perfect year to reinvent himself and take his music in a new direction. With a focus on raw emotion, Into the Ether will see Clayton’s productions move from his traditional big room sound to a more atmospheric, melodic and emotive vibe.
Having reinvigorated his passion for production, Into the Ether has achieved a truly deep and progressive sound with his latest productions. Heavily influenced by the likes of CamelPhat, Eric Prydz, Yotto, Lane 8 and the Anjunadeep sound as well as old school hip hop, London Grammar and Deadmau5, the Warwickshire based promoter has taken inspiration from all of the music he submerges himself in, along with real life events and emotions, and stitched together pieces of music that are a real pleasure for all of the senses. Having previously been named BBC Introducing Artist of the Month in 2016, Into the Ether comes with real production pedigree and fans of quality electronic music will not be disappointed by his latest offerings.
Also an accomplished DJ, Into the Ether is currently working on a hybrid set that will see him integrate live elements into his DJ set. Yet to play any gigs as Into the Ether, he has launched a monthly podcast, A Journey Into the Ether, which he uses to showcase his hottest selections and newest productions. The podcast is available on SoundCloud, MixCloud and iTunes, with links regularly posted across all of Into the Ether’s social media platforms.
With a four track EP, A Long Road Home, already complete and a number of gigs both at home and abroad already confirmed, including a debut Ibiza performance in San Antonio’s Eden nightclub, 2018 is already shaping up to be a big year for Into the Ether. A postman by trade, I think it’s fair to say that Into the Ether is an artist who always delivers.
